On March 11, 2019, Media Matters surfaced about an hour of old clips of Tucker Carlson from between 2006-2001 as he called into the "Bubba the Love Sponge Show." In this clip from The Damage Report, host John Iadarola reports about the hateful and racist, sexist and vile pro-child-marriage rhetoric contained in this audio.

Tucker called Iraqis “semi-literate primitive monkeys”
He also said he had “zero sympathy” for Iraqis because they “don’t use toilet paper or forks”
Suggested that the war could turn things around in Iraq “if, somehow, the Iraqis decided to behave like human beings"

Made several comments defending statutory rape and child marriage
Carlson added that Afghanistan is "never going to be a civilized country because the people aren't civilized”
Carlson crediting "white men" for "creating civilization"
He said that Michelle Obama would "be a problem" because she “turns into a sister”
Asked "How is he Black, for one thing? He has one white parent, one Black parent” about former President Obama
